4. Increases Flexibility
In Pilates, we work toward a safe increase in length and stretch of the muscles and range of motion within the joints. You won’t find quite as much “pretzel logic” in Pilates as you might in yoga, but a body that can stretch and bend to meet the flow of life is a very realistic goal.
Note the words safe and realistic – keeping in mind that some bodies are very flexible while many have injuries and range of motion issues, Pilates works to be gentle on bodies while building the strength needed to prevent injury and support both athletic and every day activities.
So remember: Sunday is a great day for Pilates! While not many exercise classes typically take place on Sunday (beyond the morning) at Springwater Pilates we are now starting some Sunday afternoon classes to help you ease back into your work week. Come check us out!

We now offer online scheduling!!
There is a bit of an issue with the code for the scheduler, but the book now button is showing up at the bottom left of the website. You can find it on the home page, or on the schedule page. It is there though, and we are working to resolve the ‘placement’ issue.
Groupon customers can access online scheduling off of their groupon confirmation page, OR everyone (Groupon or not) can just come here! There is a book now button on the schedule page as well as on our home page.
Online scheduling is available for everyone regardless of Groupon status. Whether you had a Groupon, finished using it, and are now onto regular classes, or if you are just discovering our classes and want to test them out, sign up and come!
You can schedule, cancel, read class descriptions, get our address, and more all on the scheduler.

It is exhausting running a Groupon! One might think it a passive activity, but no! Monitoring your numbers, getting the deal information out on your social networking sites, checking the question board to make sure all potential customers have the facts they need in order to make their decision and, of course, checking the numbers. Wait, did I already say that one? It is practically a full time job!
Now that things are done, it is time to get in the studio! A total of 173 Groupons sold, and there are more chances to purchase it through the ‘in case you missed it’ feature on the Groupon website.
Big exciting news…within a couple of days we will have online scheduling! This will make everything easier on everyone, both schedule makers/keepers and clients! Plus you can track your attendance, sign in and out of classes with the push of a button and more! Instead of being harried and worn it, we can return to our normal sprightly selves!
